Ready Made Fluorocarbon Rigs

The Complete Fluorocarbon Rig Guide For Carp Fishing

Fluorocarbon Rigs are popular among carp anglers who want a subtle presentation that blends naturally into clear water conditions. The near invisible properties of fluorocarbon make it a popular choice when targeting wary carp.

A well tied fluorocarbon rig can provide excellent presentation while maintaining reliable hook mechanics. They are often chosen for pressured venues, clear lakes and situations where carp have seen many different rigs.

What Is A Fluorocarbon Rig?

A Fluorocarbon Rig uses fluorocarbon hooklink material to create a stiff or semi-stiff presentation. The material offers excellent abrasion resistance, sinks well and can help create a very natural looking setup on the lake bed.

Why Use Fluorocarbon Carp Rigs?

Fluorocarbon rigs are popular because they provide a discreet presentation while still offering reliable rig mechanics. They can be used for a variety of hook baits including wafters, bottom baits and balanced presentations.

Best Hook Baits For Fluorocarbon Rigs

Fluorocarbon rigs work well with wafters, bottom baits and critically balanced hook baits. The choice of hook bait depends on the venue, lake bed and feeding behaviour of the carp.
