Ready Tied Combi rigs
The classic Combi rig comprises of a combination of a stiff boom section and supple hook sections, these types of rigs are very hard for carp to eject and wont tangle on a cast.
The combi rig is very versatile as it can be used for bottom baits, pop ups or wafters. this makes it one of the go to rigs for many top name anglers (As Danny Fairbrass showed in Korda Masterclass 8).
The combi rig can come in many different forms from a Multi - Slip D rig like Darrell Peck showcased, to a reverse combi rig where the stiff section is actually the hook end, like Adam Penning used. Its always worth having a few in your rig wallet as this rig will consistently put fish on the bank.
The classic combi rig now uses Korda Loop braid.
A specialist rig material that has been developed for this style of Carp Fishing, the Loop braid is a dark camo colour and offers a unique balance between suppleness and stiffness. It's stiff enough not to tangle on the cast yet supple enough to show the slightest of bites.
