To ensure your bait is presented correctly, simply take a wafter and mount it to your rig, drop the rig in the margin and check that the hook section is laying flat and your wafter is hovering just above the hook, if you find the bait is lifting the hook, simply whittle it down slightly with scissors until you get the desired presentation.
