ready made ronnie - spinner rigs for solid pva bags, made with omc lock hooks and components
The ever popular Ronnie Rigs has just got "locked" This version includes the very popular and reliable OMC the Lock Hooks - unique pattern of hook that has a exceptional hook up ratio and very rarely drops a fish!, The OMC Inturn aligners and Matching Long Distance Hook Beads, complete with a choice of supple braid "boom" section.
The boom is made from a short supple braid like Korda Dark Matter, Korda Super Natural or Fox Reflex Camo, The supple braid ensures that your rig is concealed by the contents of your solid bag. The short length (normally 3 to 4 inches) Is perfect to ensure that as soon as the fish moves its head the lead will help to set the hook for you - The end result is an exceptional hook hold and a savage bite!
The Solid bag rig is simply added inside your solid bag with your free offerings such as crushed boilies etc. When the bag melts in the water you are guaranteed that your hookbait is right in the middle of the loose feed.
The Aligners and hook beads will assist you in concealing your rig (if that is your preferred approach to carp fishing)
The Cornoliners and a clear boom would be perfect for fishing with fake corn over a bed of particles
If there is bloodworm present then you could go for the bloodliners.
Over silt then maybe a black boom or a camo boom with a wormaliner combination maybe the key to unlock that bite.
Maybe you prefer an approach of the bright kickers and making everything stand out, a approach that was covered in the Korda Masterclass series and proved to be very effective for getting a quick bite!
No matter what your preferred approach, you can customise the specification of these rigs to be unique to you.
These rigs are crimped for total strength and neatness,
Anti Tangle,
Will self reset in the event of an aborted take,
Supple braid to ensure your hooklink is disguised out the way of any feeding fishing
The hook can be changed by sliding off the aligner - No need to replace the entire rig!
When using a pop up you may need to add some putty around the bottom of the ronnie swivel to counter balance the buoyancy of the bait.
If you are using a wafter it is often best to use a slightly bigger wafter and then trim it down with scissors so the hook lays flat and the bait is hovering just above the hook - helping to mask the hook from view.
