The Lock Slip D Rigs

Ready made slip d rigs with omc the lock hooks and components 

The Slip D  rig is made with a  coated braid hook length, The coated braid has 2 main benefits, the coating adds some degree of stiffness to prevent tangles on the cast, and where it is stripped off by the hook this creates a hinge which makes the hook nearly impossible for the fish to spit out.  This particular variation includes the outstanding OMC Lock Hooks in either barbless or Micro Barb - Their unique shape gives probably the best hook holds and very rarely a dropped bite. The OMC aligner can enable you to either blend your rig into the free offerings  or you can make the hook stand out, a tactic that can often get a quick bite.
The bait is mounted on either a rig ring, a bait screw or a micro ring swivel. This is on a Slip D section which when a Carp feeds they suck in the food and then spit it back out, as they spit the food and bait back out the D section allows the bait to slide back towards the eye of the hook transferring the weight distribution of the bait on the hook making the hook point heavy - the perfect position to grip inside the bottom lip.

This rig is also available in a PVA Bag version which is made from supple braid.

The Supple braid comes in many options:
Korda Dark Matter (Coated) - A dark Camo braid which is tungsten infused so it sinks like a brick onto the bottom
Korda N Trap - Neutral buoyancy  a perfect choice when you there is leaves etc on the bottom, Semi Stiff which enhances the anti eject properties and the anti tangle mechanics
Korda Kamo - Very smooth finish coated braid with a dark camo, neutral buoyancy. Very thin diameter.
OMC Blend -  A coated braid from One More Cast, either weedy green or muddy brown in colour (depending on availability) 18lb breaking strain, very supple for a coated braid
ESP Tungsten Loaded - Tungsten coated so sinks really well. The inner core is very supple.
