Multi combi rig is a very good rig for all bait types. The hook is mounted on to a loop of supple braid (Korda Arma Kord) This gives you enough stiffness to prevent tangles yet will remain supple enough to present any bait perfectly. The OMC in turn aligner then traps the hook in place. This enables you to change the hook quickly if required and also gives you an indication if you have been "done" ie a carp has picked your bait up but not given a bite indication, the loop will become tight to the eye of the hook. The combination of the supple end section and the stiff boom section gives this rig excellent anti tangle properties, it will self reset as well should you suffer a dropped bite.  The Albright knot creates the perfect hinge to make this rig really hard to eject.

Tied with the Lock hook this rig will give you exceptional hook holds.

If you are fishing with a balanced bait or a pop up you should test the rig to ensure you get the perfect presentation of your bait, add putty around the Albright knot if you find the pop up lifts the whole rig up- you are aiming for just the supple section to be lifted. If you are using a wafter or balanced bait you want the hook to lay flat- Trim your wafter down with some scissors until you get the desired effect.

The length is measured as the stiff section only, the supple section is around 1 inch long.
