Product quick specification of:
Blowback Spinner Rigs
Optimal Usage:
- This rig is best used with either a bottom bait, wafter or critically balanced bait over a clean lake bed
- Can be used all year around
- Works well with a small pva stick which will enhance the anti tangle properties
- If using a wafter test your rig in some water before casting out to ensure the hook lays flat, if it dont then trim your wafter down with some scissors. If you are using a pop up, you may need to add some rig putty to counter balance the pop up.
Lead Arrangement:
For the optimal results, a lead clip system works best but a inline lead or helicopter rig is also very effective.

The latest adaption of the proven Spinner Rig, Designed for bottom baits!
The Blow back Spinner rig is designed to use with a bottom bait over a firm lake bed, this rig gives you incredible hook holds and if the spinner was not hard enough for a Carp to eject this adaption makes it even harder! Comprising of a stiff boom section this rig will lay flat on the bottom out of the way of any feeding carp. The stiff boom will prevent tangles on the cast and ensure the hook bait is kicked away from the lead.
The blow back element of this rig will allow a carp to spit out your bait as they normally do when the feed, the bait will slide up the shank of the hook leaving the hook inside ready to prick the bottom lip. With the bait mounted on a hair, this will give your bait more natural movement and enable the bait to be sucked in by a Carp much easier.
The boom material is memory-free which means you can straighten it without the need of steam, simply use some rig pullers and pull it straight and you are good to go! Because the boom is memory-free it also means that it will resist kinking when playing a fish - something that can seriously weaken a boom material. We have the boom available in a couple of options - clear, black or a unique camo fleck. The boom material is 25lb breaking strain and crimped using 0.6mm double barrel crimps. We don't use single barrel crimps which can damage boom material. By crimping the rigs you end up with a strong, reliable and neat connection, much stronger than using a knot.
The rig is measured as the stiff boom section only.
